Germany usually seen crossing water quickly making their way to the shadows.

Top 3 of one from that showed well in front of one of the hides at
Blacktoft Sands RSPB, Yorkshire one evening in early April 2013 and the bottom 2 from Welbeck, Notts in August 2022.

Mountain Hare - Lepus timidus (UK)
A nice unexpected sighting away from the thick hillside cover on the South Yorkshire moorlands (August 2020). Bottom three - two of several from the same location (April 2022).
Desert Cottontail - Sylvilagus

This timid rabbit was taking shade from the harsh California

One of the stars of Rainham Marshes RSPB, London is the Water Vole. First three - of one showing nicely along the northern boardwalk (July 2015), the rest from the same site in May 2022.
